Southern Oregon Jobs With Justice community appreciation celebration

Join Southern Oregon Jobs with Justice and the Community Peace Meal for a community appreciation celebration this February 14th from 3 to 5 pm at Ashland’s Pioneer Hall.

We will be serving sweets, treats and good cheer with music and appreciation for all the volunteers who make our community great. Come check out Pioneer Hall, the building we all waited many years to return to public use. Southern Oregon Jobs with justice and Peace Meal organizers will help folk who want to get plugged into volunteer opportunities.

BLM seeks summer artist-in-residence applicants

Bureau of Land Management (BLM) officials are accepting applications for the agency’s annual summer artist-in-residence programs: one at the historic Rogue River Ranch National Historic Site and another at the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. The artists will have the opportunity to capture these lands during a milestone year.
