State Sen. Jeff Golden will hold a town hall meeting at from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, at the Ashland library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd., according to a news release.
The event is open to anyone and will be held in the library’s Gresham Room. It will be Golden’s first face-to-face town hall event since the start of the year, though he has held live online town halls on the third Thursday of each month during that time.
“I’ve enjoyed the monthly online events we’ve been doing, and hope they’ve been useful for people who participated,” Golden said. “I appreciated seeing people appear on the screen to ask questions and make comments as legislation was unfolding, but that’s not nearly the same as actually getting together — especially since there’s so much to say about the session that just ended. I’m looking forward to finding what District 3 citizens are thinking out — and actually hearing it in person for a change.”
