Summer Sounds at Lithia Park – Blitzen Trapper

This summer, Ashland is in for a musical treat with the inaugural “Summer Sounds” concert series.

Epic Ashland, in partnership with the Ashland Parks Department, is proud to announce two free concerts set to light up the band shell in Lithia Park. These family-friendly events will feature renowned artists Sean Hayes and Blitzen Trapper, promising great music, food, and drinks in the heart of our beautiful town.

Blitzen Trapper will perform 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, July 29, at the Lithia Park bandshell.

Community meeting set in Talent on frequent Pacific Power outages

Pacific Power has organized a meeting in Talent to discuss power outages that have plagued the city this summer. The meeting is 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, in the Talent library, 101 Home St. It will include an opportunity to hear from Pacific Power President Ryan Flynn, who will discuss the outages and also explain what is being done to improve the power grid system.
