Sunday Service: 7 Generation Planning – Before, Now, and Future

David West offers us an invitation to “remember to remember” the wisdom of those who went before us, and those of us living in the now. How do we prepare for the future – for ourselves, our children, our families and all our relations?

David West is an enrolled Citizen Potawatomi, with Kickapoo, and Miami descendance, all Great Lakes Tribes, also French and Dutch descendance.

He is the recipient of the Rogue Gateway Rotary Club of Grants Pass, Vocational Service Award for 2022-2023. He is also the initial recipient of the 2023 SOU Distinguished Career Service Award. This is the first new award at SOU in 150 years. He is very proud of these recognitions.

“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread with in it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.” – Chief Seattle
