The Storyspinner Journey of the Secret Storyworld by Cynthia Salbato

Learn the 10 steps of the Storyspinner Journey in this interactive exploration of the Secret Storyworld, a story writing ‘game’ that brings our best stories to life.

We begin with an ancient map that underlies all stories. We all can read this map, even if we can’t quite explain it. This map helps us navigate between two worlds: the invisible world of stories and the visible world these stories create.

This map delineates the path to bring our inspired ideas into visible reality. Some call this map the Hero’s Journey. We call it the Storyspinner Journey because it weaves us together with other readers, writers and creators to rewrite the stories that no longer serve us.

We are living through an extraordinary moment in the human story. As creative citizens of this world, we face environmental, economic, and social change at an accelerated pace. We seek powerful new stories to navigate into that more beautiful world that we know is possible. These new stories reside inside each of us, ready to be shared. In our time together, we will specifically explore the Storyworld realm of health and fitness and write a story together that will be shared at Superheroes After Dark on July 28 at ScienceWorks Museum. Come help us write the world.

THE STORYWORLD is comprised of 12 Storyrealms, each with its own story landscape, characters, and seasons that correspond to the Gregorian calendar and the Storyspinner Journey. The Storyspinner Journey follows the energetic pathway of the Chakras and Sefirot (known as the Tree of Life), the path of energy into matter. Storyspinners are invited on a quest into the 12 Storyrealms to find 12 Artifacts that will help change the Story. YOU are a Storyspinner. You can use the monthly storygames of the Storyworld to write a story, achieve a goal, and establish a habit in 30 days.

Cynthia Salbato is the co-founder of The Secret Storyworld. Cynthia self-identifies as a Community Experience Architect.
