Following on September’s successful Rally for Climate and Clean Air, the Rogue Climate Action Team is hosting a workshop in advance of the City of Ashland’s public engagement sessions on an emissions standard for new homes in Ashland, to be held later in October.

We’ll be providing updates on the ordinance, help one another prepare comments for the city’s engagement sessions, and share about outreach opportunities to make sure the public meetings are well-attended. It will be crucial that Ashland hears from as many community members as possible about what they want to see in this policy, and why meaningful policy action for climate justice and clean air is essential. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get support to write your own comment. Light snacks provided.
