Get ready to spark joy, curiosity, and motion with Jenifer Joy, a lifelong Ashland educator, performer, and world traveler who’s bringing her one-of-a-kind YoYo Magic Dot Fun STEAM show to the Jackson County Library system!
Blending yo-yo artistry, storytelling, science, and laughter, Jenifer’s show Yeet the Yo! turns physics into play — exploring concepts like force, motion, gravity, and energy transfer through the wonder of the yo-yo. It’s a high-energy, family-friendly experience that celebrates creativity, focus, and the joy of learning by doing.
A graduate of the Ashland schools and current Master’s in Teaching student at SOU, Jenifer has shared her interactive programs across Oregon and around the world — from Thailand and Zimbabwe to local fairs and festivals. Now she’s returning home to inspire Southern Oregon families with a show that’s equal parts science, art, and heart.
