New to the KS Wild scene? Whether you’ve recently moved to the Rogue Valley and are looking to build community or you’re a local interested in becoming an active advocate for the region’s wild nature, there is a place for you at KS Wild.

Join us for a meet-and-greet happy hour to hang out with some of our staffers while learning more about our mission and how we accomplish it.

If you’re unfamiliar with the organization, these events are a great opportunity to find out what we’re all about.

We’ll offer a short, casual conversation about how our Climate, ForestWatch, Rogue Riverkeeper, and Stewardship programs are making major waves in local conservation and creating important, sustainable change for the wild spaces that make Southern Oregon and Northern California so special.

Come join us for a happy hour hangout at one of our meet and greet opportunities this fall!

Our growing community of active, excited, nature-loving supporters is always excited to welcome new folks to explore the mountains and valleys of the Klamath-Siskiyou region with, and we’ll offer a few ways you could get involved if you felt inspired!

No sign up is necessary. Drinks are not included, but a good time and some KS Wild goodies will be provided.

This fall, we’ll also be popping up at Clyde’s Corner in Phoenix on Sept. 21 from 4:30 to 6 p.m., the Haul in Grants Pass on Oct. 19 from 4 to 6 p.m., and Skout Taphouse and Provisions in Ashland on Nov. 9 from 4:30 to 6 p.m., so there are numerous options to come hang out with us.

We look forward to meeting you!

KS Wild Side appears every month and features a staff member from KS Wild, a regional conservation organization based in Ashland. Haleigh Martin works as the communications manager for KS Wild and Rogue Riverkeeper. For more information go to kswild.org.
