Music, food, drinks, and more offered at KS Wild’s largest fundraising event

By Haleigh Martin

If you remember life pre-pandemic, you may remember the KS Wild Annual Dinner. What began more than a decade ago as a small, annual celebration of the Klamath-Siskiyou bioregion and all of its unique nature has transformed into one of KS Wild’s largest events, and this year, we’re bringing it back! You have the opportunity to join us from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, for an evening not to be missed.

Music, curated food, local libations, and a live auction full of prizes — what else could you ask for?!

Why should I attend?

We’re glad you asked! The KS Wild Annual Dinner has served as a connection point for community members, conservationists, and recreationists from near and far for many years. Let us treat you to a night of fun with friends old and new in celebration of the Wild!

This event is also KS Wild’s largest fundraising event of the year, so all proceeds from your ticket purchase, live auction bids, and any donations made throughout the night will go directly to positively impacting the wild spaces we cherish here in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Our nonprofit work would not be possible without you, and this is the best, mutually-beneficial way to support local conservation efforts!

What does my ticket get me?

Good question! Your RSVP to the dinner is your ticket into a night to remember. The night will kick off with an open bar happy hour with beverages donated from our friends at Art Bop Beer Co., Domaine Rogue Wine, Ron Roth Wine, Moxie Brew Kombucha, and Noble Coffee. You’ll enjoy your tasty local beverage to the bluegrass tunes of live music by Sage Meadows and a full appetizer spread by Marion Heinze of Heart Full Catering.

We’ll then transition into dinner where you’ll be served three more courses of vibrant, local food: a colorful salad with ingredients sourced from Rogue Valley farms, your choice between two mouthwatering vegetarian meals, and a subtly-sweet dessert before diving into the live auction!

What’s in the live auction?

To maximize your experience, we’ve compiled 12 live auction prize packages featuring getaways at places like Breitenbush Hot Springs, Mount Shasta Resort, the Greensprings Inn, and more! The best part? One hundred percent of your auction proceeds will be a donation directly to KS Wild and Rogue Riverkeeper! Treat yourself while giving back to the Wild. There truly is nothing better.

Psst — Want to see the full list of prizes? Click here!

The only way you can take a chance at winning these prizes is by attending the dinner, so don’t miss your opportunity to win in support of wild nature!

OK, I want to come. How do I RSVP?

That’s what we like to hear! You can visit our website at kswild.org/annual-dinner-2024 for the full dinner menu, live auction prize packages, and ticket sales. We do expect this event to sell out, so get your ticket today if you would like to be a part of this celebratory night for the Wild!

KS Wild Side appears every month and features a staff member from KS Wild, a regional conservation organization based in Ashland. Haleigh works as the Communications Manager for KS Wild. For more information go to kswild.org.
