Letter: If you say ‘no’ to taxes, maybe say ‘yes’ to giving

Shocked and saddened by the recent defeat of the Ashland Parks ballot initiative, I’ve made a gift to the Ashland Parks Foundation. Others might consider doing the same.

The affluent Ashlanders who voted no on this initiative, and who vote no on taxes in general, might consider making a gift to the foundation — if only because it’s tax-deductible.
