Letter: ‘Ready for the challenge and ready to serve’

Denise Krause is running for Position 1 on the Rogue Valley Transportation District (RVTD). Read about her on page 51 of your Voters’ Pamphlet. She’s got two opponents, both who are covering their bases by running for multiple board positions. What’s with that!

Denise knows what she’s committed to and that is ensuring the citizens of Jackson County have the transportation they need; to get to work even on weekends, to get to school, get to medical appointments, to get to social activities, and to get wherever they want to go on climate friendly public transportation.

Voting in these Special District Elections is crucial to keeping our county in the hands of trusted individuals who have our best interest at the core of their motivation for running for public office.

Cascade-Siskiyou Monument research symposium at SOU will look at wildlife and geology

Ongoing research aimed at increasing the public’s understanding, appreciation, preservation and protection of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument is set for this week at SOU.
