Like many other people, I keep getting requests for money to “fight” the oligarchs securing power. I don’t believe we can win if our weapon is money. They have the money; they control the money. Money is their home court. We must disarm them and starve the corporations. Every day, step down, step away from big box, step toward local vendors and farmers markets.
Don’t expect to do it in a day. Make it a goal and aim carefully. Be gentle but proud. Win by exhibiting values you want to see — independence from corporations and community with neighbors. Don’t eat them (yuck). Starve them. Try.
