It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our dearly loved Christopher Ross. He passed away peacefully at his home in Sahuarita, Arizona, from complications of diabetes, which he battled for 52 years.
Chris is survived by his parents Jim and Jennie Mckenzie of Talent and Don and Gay Ross of Arizona. He is also survived by his brothers Kevin Ross; Wesley Mckenzie and wife Bambi; Jared Ross and wife Charity; Joey Ross and wife Caitlin; as well as his former wife and friend Lori Graham Thurgood; and many friends in the Rogue Valley and new friends in Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Darold and Betty McCoy and Walter and Georgia Ross.
Chris moved to Arizona after losing his home in the Alameda fire.
Chris graduated from Ashland High School in 1982 and from Southern Oregon College, and he spent his career in banking. He was a very loving and outgoing person, and everyone who knew him loved him.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held Oct. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at Roxy Ann Grange, 1850 Spring St., Medford.
