Obituary: Don Ballew

Don Ballew was an entrepreneur, enjoyed Rotary Club and was a member of Table Rock Fellowship.

Nov. 27, 1937 — April 17, 2024

Don R. Ballew passed away peacefully April 17 at the age of 86. Raised in Elmdale, Kansas, he spent his last five decades in Southern Oregon.

Don was athletic by nature and enjoyed skiing, fishing, traveling, playing cards, golfing and hiking. He will be remembered for his smile, wit, sense of humor and charm.

He will be joining his mother, Dorothy; father, John E.; brother, Harold; and sister, Mary, in heaven. He leaves his favorite daughters, Michelle, Rebecca, Wendy and Molly (Woo); his grandchildren, Ace, Ryan, Kenneth Ashton, Stevie, Jack and Goldie; and additional family, Kristi (Ben), Jacob and Travis.

Don was an entrepreneur, enjoyed Rotary Club and was a member of Table Rock Fellowship.
