February 24, 2023

September 6, 1940 – February 14, 2023

Elizabeth Ann Bard Golledge passed away the night of Feb. 14, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Adrian, parents George and Elizabeth Bard, and adopted family member Kimmy King. Liz is survived by her daughter Cynthia and her husband Butch (Portland, Oregon); son Chris and his wife Nona (Lawrence, Kansas); and their two sons and wives, Brendan and Elena (Lawrence, Kansas) and Caelan and Ashley (Sacramento, California).

Elizabeth traveled the world in her youth. She was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, and lived in the Philippines, India and Sweden before settling back in the U.S. to raise a family. It was in India that she met Adrian, and they were married in Bombay. After living in various parts of the country, they eventually retired to Ashland, Oregon, in 1999.

She held a Master’s of Psychology and was an author, a volunteer for a women’s shelter, and a champion of women’s rights.

The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.
