OSF cancels multiple shows due to COVID-19 among some performers

Ticket holders can get refunds, ticket vouchers, or donate their tickets

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival announced on social media platforms on Wednesday afternoon that multiple performances have been canceled this week due to COVID-19 cases among its performing and understudy company.

The following performances have been canceled this week:

  • “Romeo and Juliet”: 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9; 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10; 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11; 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12
  • “The Three Musketeers”: 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9
  • “Twelfth Night”: 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10; 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12

“We had every hope that the show could go on, but the health of our artists and crews is of top priority,” stated the post.

Ticket holders will be offered the opportunity to exchange, donate, receive a voucher or a refund for tickets to a show that has been canceled, according to a tweet on the social media site X, formerly known as Twitter. 

Ticket holders will be notified if there are additional changes made to shows, according to OSF.
