PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that on January 13, 2026, the Ashland Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. at the Ashland Civic Center, 1175 East Main Street for the following item:
PLANNING ACTION: PA-T2-2025-00065
SUBJECT PROPERTY: 431 N Main Street
APPLICANT: Rogue Planning and Development
OWNER: Rogue Holdings LLC
DESCRIPTION: A request for concurrent Outline and Final Plan approval for a Performance Standards Option (PSO) subdivision. The parent parcel at 431 N Main Street is proposed to be subdivided into four new lots, each with a single-family dwelling. The existing structure is proposed for demolition. The application also includes a request for four Conditional Use Permits to exceed the Maximum Permitted Floor Area (MPFA) in a Historic District on each new home, a request to remove a significant tree 33” DBH in size (Ailanthus altissima, Tree of Heaven) and a request for an exception to street standards to not install standard street improvements due to the existing sidewalk and site constraints. The public hearing will be televised on local channel 9 or channels 180 and 181 for Charter Communications customers or will also be available live stream by going to rvtv.sou.edu and selecting RVTV Prime. Written testimony received by this deadline will be available for Planning Commissioners to review before the hearing and will be included in the meeting minutes.
Oral testimony will also be taken during the electronic public hearing via Zoom as well. If you wish to provide oral testimony during the hybrid meeting, please send an email to [email protected] by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Please provide the following information: 1) make the subject line of the email “January 13, 2026 Speaker Request”, 2) include your name, 3) the agenda item on which you wish to speak, 4) specify if you will be participating by computer or telephone, and 5) the name you will use if participating by computer or the telephone number you will use if participating by telephone.
