Dad leads a horse carrying his son in this photo taken by Ashland resident Dale Robinette south of Englewood, Colorado, in 1972, at the start of his professional photography career. “I made snow cones from the fresh snow,” Robinette recalls — and that he shot with an f4 f-stop for 1/125 second using Kodak Tri-X film with his Nikon. “‘Til we meet on down the road.”
