Recology customers in Ashland and Talent are asked to put their various garbage and recycling carts at the curb by 6 a.m. starting Monday, June 2, according to a news release.

This applies to all carts, including garbage, recycling, green waste, and glass, according to Recology community affairs official Eric Ahnmark.

“These early summer start times will run June — September each year,” the news release said. “This is a safety measure to keep our employees and trucks from operating during the hottest part of the day and to align with new OSHA operating rules.”
