Fog sealing of chip-sealed streets scheduled on parts of East Main, Ashland and other streets

A few streets in Ashland will close Thursday and Friday this week for the final in a series of chip seal repair projects conducted by Jackson County and city of Ashland Public Works through the summer, according to a release from the city of Ashland.
Wednesday, Aug. 21, Glenview Drive and Almond Street will close, while Thursday, Aug. 22, East Main Street from Lithia Way to Walker Avenue, Tolman Creek Road from Siskiyou Boulevard to Highway 66, and Ashland Street from Guthrie to Roca streets will all close while work is done.
All roads will be closed for all traffic and no street parking will be allowed on the specified dates beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting between two and five hours, according to the release.
The road closures follow similar work done throughout Ashland as previously reported by Ashland.news.
