Amanda Pyle taught for 28 years in Phoenix and Talent schools. After she retired she volunteered for 22 years as an art project leader in her son Andrew's classroom in Medford.

A celebration of life for the longtime schoolteacher will take place May 17 in Ashland

A celebration of life for Amanda Pyle, of Ashland, who passed away Sept. 3, 2024, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, in Calvin Hall at the First Presbyterian Church, at 1615 Clark Ave. (at Siskiyou Boulevard) in Ashland.

Amanda served nearly 30 years as a teacher in Phoenix and Talent elementary schools, primarily in second- and third-grade classrooms.

Friends, former colleagues and students are invited to attend the celebration and, should they wish, share their memories of Amanda.
