Official opening will include activities for community members of all ages
Rogue Valley Times staff report
Talent Maker City will hold its grand reopening 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at its new makerspace building, located at 109 Talent Ave., in downtown Talent.
An official ribbon cutting and speeches will begin at 11 a.m., followed by hands-on activities for all ages.
The $4.4-million, 8,000-square-foot building sits where older commercial buildings burned in the 2020 Almeda Fire. The nonprofit will be able to offer more classes and additional disciplines at the new location.
The makerspace offers tools, instruction and more in a wide variety of creative arts, from jewelry to welding, painting to woodworking and more.
