In-person session coming up Wednesday, May 8; Zoom session set for Wednesday, May 15

A pair of workshops on learning better wildfire preparedness are coming up, one in person and one online.
The workshop advertises teaching some “simple steps” to reduce the risk of losing a home to wildfire, according to a flier posted to the city of Ashland’s website.
The first workshop is set to begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at Lithia Motors Pavilion on Southern Oregon University campus at 1465 Webster St. The second workshop will be held virtually over Zoom starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 15.
The workshop is hosted by the city of Ashland, Fire Adapted Ashland and the Boise State Hazard and Climate Resilience Institute.
