Genealogy 101: A Class Series

The Genealogy 101 class series meets the second Thursday of each month from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at the RVGS Library OR 6:00 – 7:30 PM via Zoom.

The instructor will be Barbara Northrop, C.G. ®

• December 11 – Vital Records: Putting it Together into a Case Study
• January 8 – Research Strategies for Immigration Records
• February 12 – Wills and Probate
• March 12 – Anatomy of a Death Certificate & Probate Records
• April 9 – Manuscripts, Genealogies, and Periodicals
• May 14 – Land Research in the USA – Kim Thurman, Instructor
• June 11 – Using the Bureau of Land Management Website

Mt. Ashland’s new trail could lead to a spike in bike tourism
