The third and final round of performers appearing at this summer’s Britt Music Festival has been revealed. But that’s not all. Announced, too, are plans for Britt’s summer schedule of free kids’ concerts and the third annual free The Hill is Where the Heart Is: Neighborhood Kickoff Party.
“Join us as we partner with Access in an effort to show appreciation for our community and ring in the new season,” Britt marketing manager Mollie Smith said in a press release. “All are welcome to this free event to enjoy food, drinks and live music. In lieu of tickets, Britt will be collecting nonperishable food items to help fight hunger in Jackson County.”
The Kickoff Party, schedule of kids’ concerts is sharing the stage with the announcement of the final round of performers. They include American jam band the String Cheese Incident; electronic/dub reggae duo Thievery Corporation and Hermanos Gutiérrez, a Latin instrumental band formed by two Ecuadorian-Swiss brothers.
In addition, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening is back on the schedule after Bonham had to cancel his 2024 show because of an unforeseen family emergency.
The additions increase this summer’s season to a whopping 37 shows, including 29 Britt live concerts and eight Britt Festival Orchestra performances. And, as Smith notes, it’s possible that more shows could be added. “so be sure to stay informed through Britt’s website and social platforms.”

Tickets for the String Cheese Incident, Thievery Corporation and Hermanos Gutiérrez are now available to Britt members and will go on sale to the general public Friday, April 25. Tickets for other Britt concerts are already on sale for such groups and individuals as Natasha Bedingfield, Watchhouse, Taj Mahal and Steve Earle, Andy Grammer, Keb’ Mo’ and Shawn Colvin, Wynonna Judd and several more.
Along with the performances, Britt’s Education department has announced its summer schedule of free kids’ concerts.
“This year’s roster offers a dynamic mix of artists and musical styles, with shows available in both Jackson and Josephine counties,” Smith said, adding, “As part of its work to expand its reach, several Britt Kids Concerts will be held at Riverside Park in Grants Pass, reaching a community that has had less access to these types of family enrichment events. Britt Kids Concerts create a fun and casual setting for local families to introduce their children to music, dance, and the visual arts.”
The free performances are especially designed for children under age 10 and are intended to “help our next generation of artists learn about the performing arts in a way that is both entertaining and educational.” The full lineup can be found at the Britt website.
For more information on the upcoming Kids’ program, summer performances tickets and other information visit brittfest.org, call the box office at 541-773-6077, or visit the office at 216 W. Main St. in Medford.
Britt is also partnering with the Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon to offer a free workshop with each of the Britt Kids Concerts artists. “These workshops provide a chance for children to engage directly with the artists through interactive workshops that explore activities including puppetry, choreography, call and response, storytelling, dance, and songwriting. Capacity is limited, so although these workshops are free, pre-registration is required. To learn more about the workshops visit the Britt website at brittfest.org.
Tickets for the Britt Festival Orchestra concerts are also available, including the two-night run of “Jurassic Park In Concert,” with the orchestra playing the score live-to-picture.
Tickets for all shows are available at brittfest.org. People are reminded to visit the website directly to ensure that their tickets are valid and the best possible price.
