Recreation, general fund, operations streamlining, and more on the agenda

Ashland Parks and Recreation Commissioners will have a packed agenda at the upcoming study session, set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the Council Chambers, 1175 E. Main St.
Commissioners will discuss recreation, the “challenges” in the city’s general fund, efforts to streamline operations, long term strategies, and near-future funding options for the department for the fiscal biennium ending June 30, 2027.
No individual agenda items were included with meeting materials.
The meeting will be held in-person, but can also be attended via Zoom. To obtain Zoom access, contact [email protected] no later than 10 a.m. the day of the meeting.
Written testimony will also be accepted at [email protected]. Include “Public Testimony” in the subject line and send before 11 a.m. the Tuesday before the meeting to ensure it will be made available to Parks Commissioners before the meeting.
