Ashland schedules electrical outage for early Friday morning

Outage is necessary to replace equipment, the city says

The city of Ashland has scheduled a power outage for the northwest part of town from 3:30 to 6 a.m. Friday, May 16.

The outage “is necessary to replace critical equipment and ensure continued reliable service,” a city news release said.

The affected area is encircled by a yellow line on the image below, provided by the city.

“Please note that (Asante) Ashland Community Hospital will not be impacted by this outage,” the news release said.
