New location in Ashland will include ‘Chipotlane’ for convenient pick up

Ashland.news staff report

Chipotle, the world-wide Mexican food franchise, will open its first restaurant in Ashland on Wednesday, it has announced in a news release.

Located at 2305 Ashland St. in Tolman Creek Plaza at the corner of Ashland Street and Tolman Creek Road, previously the site of a MOD Pizza franchise, it will feature a “Chipotlane,” which is defined in the news release as “a drive-thru pick-up lane that allows guests to conveniently pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.”

The restaurant joins some 3,700 other Chipotles in the U.S, all owned by Chipotle Mexican Grill, with no franchisees.

The Ashland outlet will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

With the opening of the restaurant comes a limited time offer on their protein Chipotle Honey Chicken which, according to a past press release, was “Chipotle’s best-selling limited-time offering… in 2024”
