A Cage Free HOUSE Concert – Scottish Fiddle & Guitar Duo, Ross Martin and Eilidh Shaw

Cage Free Concerts will host Daimh’s Ross Martin and his duo partner (and wife), Eilidh Shaw in the intimate and unplugged Livingroom show at Laughing Lady Farm JULY 8TH at 7 pm.

Eilidh Shaw (fiddle and vocals) and Ross Martin (guitar) are probably best known for their individual work with top traditional bands; The Poozies, Daimh, and Shooglenifty, although some may recall the 2000s when they made up 2 fifths of the cult folk explosion that was Harem Scarem.

Between them they have been at the heart of the Scottish Music scene for the best part of 30 years, touring the world with their own groups and as guest artists with a vast array of top performers, clocking up over 100 album appearances with names as diverse as Gaelic Superstar Julie Fowlis, Alt-Country legend Bonnie Prince Billy, Classic Crooner Tony Christie and World Music/ Jazz Fusion impresario Arnaud Ciapolino.

Their 2nd album, Stay Here All Night,was just released on the 21st of June, 2025.

Mt. Ashland’s new trail could lead to a spike in bike tourism
