Presented by Southern Oregon Pachamama Alliance Community (SOPA), this is the third film in the Eternal Song documentary series, a cinematic journey through timeless lands and Indigenous cultures.
Filmed in Canada, “If an Owl Calls Your Name” gives viewers a glimpse into how trauma healing work, ceremony, land and language, can help people navigate the deep echoes of inter-generational trauma transforming grief into profound pathways of healing and deep remembrance. There will be refreshments and a film discussion for any who wish to stay after the screening.
The event is free – donations accepted. A portion of donations to benefit Indigenous projects in our region and beyond.
The SOPA community is inspired by the bold vision of bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet.
