Obituary: Gladys Sonja Stalions

Gladys Sonja Stalions was a longtime teacher in the Ashland School District.

Gladys Sonja Stalions passed away peacefully July 30 in her Medford home at the age of 87. 

She was born in Anaconda, Montana, grew up in Minot, North Dakota, and was a resident of the Rogue Valley for over 50 years.

Sonja was the beloved wife of Larry Stalions, a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a lifelong educator. She taught for 24 years in the Ashland School District.

She cherished time spent with her loved ones and created a legacy of warmth and kindness that will live on in the hearts of her family.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held in Southern Oregon and will be announced at a later date.
