Ashland’s 38th annual MLK Day celebration

Ashland’s 38th annual MLK Day celebration is set for noon Monday, Jan. 19, at the Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St., Ashland.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. There will be live performances, with Southern Oregon University president Dr. Richard Bailey as keynote speaker. The celebration will be followed by a march to the Ashland Plaza for Dr. Martin Luther King’s famed “I Have a Dream” speech.

The Simulcast livestream will be available on RVTV Prime TV and somlk.org. Non-perishable food donations are encouraged.
