Talent-based eatery Pump House 2.0 will close next week, bidding farewell to the community after some starts and stops at a busy downtown corner. Announced Jan. 2, Pump House 2.0 will be open for its final day Saturday, Jan. 18.

The 53rd annual Talent Harvest Festival was held Saturday downtown under perfectly sunny autumn skies. It’s the end of a pizza era as The Grotto Pizzeria in Talent served its last slice of pizza Saturday, Sept. 7. After more than 20 years of slinging pizza pie dough, the pizza restaurant at 302 E. Main St. said goodbye. The new owners taking over the spot will be Morrton’s Sports Pizza Bar in Medford, which will call the location Morttons Too.
Talent Maker City will hold its grand reopening 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at its new makerspace building at 109 Talent Ave. An official ribbon cutting and speeches begin at 11 a.m., followed by hands-on activities for all ages.
